The Location Prepaid/Postpaid with Closed Users' Groups (LP CUG) is a high-capacity service meant for global GSM and GPRS carriers to deploy real-time rating and charging capabilities for voice, messaging and data. A reduced functionality package is also available for global PTSN operators. Supporting several telephony standards, this service can handle from thousands to millions of subscribers at sites around the world.

The LP CUG provides real-time rating and charging based on totally configurable rules and eliminates the fraud opportunity often associated with "hot billing" systems. The heart of this service includes a rating engine allowing our clients to define their own flexible XML rules to rate different medias (voice, messaging or data) and a flexible way to define several kinds of accounts with different rights and rating options. This rating engine enables to apply different rates based on several configurable parameters like the caller and called location, the nature of calls, the nature and type of accounts, the time or the date.
